So many wonderful things have come from participating in the New Living Expo! I feel fortunate and blessed to have been there.
Thursday was the first day, set-up only. Larry and I spent several hours getting the electrical and infrastructure set up.
We then came back on Friday morning early to set up the displays and help other people with their needs. My instructions to the weekend crew were that the people in the booths around us were to be considered family for the whole event – we were all there to create one big open environment of success and healing and to support them as much as they support me. So we had a lot of good camaraderie develop and love permeated the area. Nicely, many people over the course of the weekend stopped in our area and commented how it felt open, lighter and more peaceful than in other areas of the exhibition. That was very affirming of everyone’s efforts.
Friday was very, very light, as far as traffic. The event coordinators were surprised at the low turnout. Maria came to help us out, even though it was Good Friday for her. Luckily, the low turnout facilitated her leaving a bit early so she could attend church. But her good energy and optimistic personality were a godsend. Many of the exhibitors around us were a bit downhearted, but we managed to keep our optimism for Saturday. What did happen on Friday though was a good shakedown of the booth structure. Marketing coordinators circulated late on Friday evening to help people with their booth structures. They spent a lot of time with us, helping us tweak our displays! It was wonderful!
Larry and I spent late Friday night into the wee hours developing a new display sign to be ready for Saturday and I’m so glad we did. Saturday was very full! The event drew a tremendous crowd!
By 11am on Saturday I was cranking out readings/energy healings and it was non-stop until 10 that night. Many things happened during the day! Miracles and gifts galore!
The day started with two powerful wizards visiting me and we had a great time recognizing each other from lives before and greeting each other anew. We will be working together in the future I’m sure. They brought gifts of stones for me and energy deluxe!
The clients I saw all day were wonderful people! Barbara and Patsy were on hand to help! Poor Patsy however was running a fever and we urged her to go back home and get in bed. But her good energy that morning, albeit feverish, was a wonderful contribution to the effort. Barbara was our hostess du Jour for the day, bringing people into our booth and filling up my time with wonderful people to contribute to. She developed, what became known as “Crystal Chocolate Bliss!” She would pick a stone for a person to hold, have them close their eyes and pop a piece of chocolate into their mouth. What
resulted was pure bliss! People were coming to the booth just to experience it!
Larry was busy doing support and also taking great testimonials from people on their way out. Unfortunately for him, though, many people were not able to give testimonials as they were teary and said quite clearly, they were too overwhelmed with what they had experienced to be able to talk yet – an incredible testimonial in and of itself. But through all that, he kept us fed and watered and kept the booth running! Much kudos to Larry and Barbara!
Things happened all day long that were unexpected, mostly on the wonderful side! But we also had our silliness, such as the projector decided to stop working for about 5 hours! But it seemed to make very little difference as people were floating in and out of our booth with joy and ease. And we considered it a resounding miracle when it decided to come back to life and begin serving our video loop again!
Mid evening the marketers came back to our booth and helped us reconfigure for Sunday.
So with booth design 3.0, we cranked up Sunday! Wow what a crowd! Larry, Barbara and Patsy were again on hand. The expo crowd brought us lots and lots of people.
Poor Patsy was still sick and went home after a couple of hours. Barbara continued filling my schedule with great clients and Larry got many more wonderful testimonials! It was a non-stop, energy filled experience!
One of the most extraordinary things that happened was that clients from
Friday and Saturday were busily bringing new clients by the booth. One woman made it her personal mission to bring as many people as possible to the Rabika Oasis! She purchased a bunch of tickets for her friends and sent them all over – friends and strangers as well! So wonderful to have supporters and contributors who believe in what I am doing. Thanks go to all of them.
Sunday was the day of gifts too! All day long the tables were filling up with people who just wanted to give me something! Books, crystals, food, all wonderful! One woman was moved to bring me a selection of her own energy jewelry products and muscle tested me for the perfect fit. What an incredibly blessed person I am!
By Sunday night as the expo closed, we had to turn people away. There just wasn’t time to help everyone right then. But luckily the website is up and people are free to call me for personal work now that the expo is over.
By the way, we never did get Wi-Fi access in the building, which resulted in us not being able to serve FREE Rabika online readings at the booth. It turned out fine though as the booth was crowded Saturday and Sunday regardless! Larry called it our McGuffin, and I think he is right about that! If you don’t know what a McGuffin is, check out Alfred Hitchcock!
All in all it was a dynamic, exciting time for us. Thanks again to everyone who helped me get from conception to expo in just 5 short weeks. This is a wonderful and auspicious beginning to the new Rabika!
